1. What this covers
This notice explains how 2bee.farm uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels, SDKs) on 2bee.farm, its subdomains, and the customer dashboard. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies are
Small files or storage entries a site places on your device to make it work, remember preferences, and understand usage. “Similar technologies” include browser local storage, tracking pixels, and analytics SDKs. They may be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by a service we use), and session (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent (kept for a set period).
3. Categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Consent needed? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Core functionality — page serving, security, load balancing, form submission (LOI/contact), dashboard login session, CSRF protection, remembering your cookie choices. | No — set on the basis these are essential to provide a service you asked for. |
| Functional / preferences | Remember settings (language, units, UI choices). | Yes where required (EU/UK); on by default in AU. |
| Analytics / performance | Understand how the Site is used (pages, referrers, errors) to improve it — e.g. a privacy-respecting analytics tool; IPs truncated/anonymised where the tool supports it. | Yes where required (EU/UK); off until consented in those regions. |
| Marketing / advertising | We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes, this notice and the banner will be updated and consent obtained where required. | Yes (would be off until consented). |
Note: the exact cookie/tool list (names, providers, durations) is maintained alongside the live site by the site/frontend sessions and published in a table on 2bee.farm/cookies. Current likely tools: AWS CloudFront/hosting (necessary), the site framework’s session/CSRF cookies (necessary), and a single analytics tool (analytics). Stripe/PayPal may set cookies on their hosted checkout pages under their own notices.
4. Consent & the cookie banner
- EU/UK visitors: non-essential cookies (functional, analytics, any future marketing) are not set until you consent via the cookie banner; you can accept all, reject non-essential, or choose categories, and change your choice any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
- Australian and other visitors: non-essential cookies may be set by default consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles and the Spam Act 2003; you can still opt out via “Cookie settings” or your browser.
- Strictly necessary cookies are always set; the banner explains this.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and set “do not track” / global privacy control signals — we honour GPC where technically feasible. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the Site (e.g. you won’t be able to log in to the dashboard). Browser help: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge all document cookie controls.
6. Third parties
Some cookies are set by service providers (hosting/CDN, analytics, payment processors on their checkout pages). Those providers process the data under their own privacy/cookie notices; we choose providers that support privacy-respecting configuration (IP anonymisation, short retention, no ad use) where available. See the Privacy Policy §§7–8 for overseas-disclosure handling.
7. Changes
We update this notice when our cookie use changes; the version on 2bee.farm/cookies is current. Material changes (e.g. introducing marketing cookies) will be reflected in the banner and require fresh consent where the law requires it.
